If you’re still on the ‘sick and tired of it’ bandwagon – I’ve come across a fantastic website that I’ve pretty much ONLY been cooking/shopping with the past couple of weeks – http://www.skinnytaste.com … now I know you’ve got serious limitations because of the baby’s allergies, but she has a lot of blogs that she follows that veer into the super healthy / special dietary needs categories. I’m sure you could find something on there too ;o) Proud of you girl.

I’m going through a similar dietary sea change right now, for different reasons. Much as have been repeatedly described could hypothetically described as an “irresponsible little shit” I do want to set a better example for my kids than my parents set for me, so we’re eating food that is, if not always perfectly healthy, markedly better than my usual fare. I’ve been inside a McDonalds maybe twice since my family landed in Ireland.

Yay, me.

Back on topic. Fair play to you for doing this, Jenny. You aren’t alone in scurrying around and hiding from the bright daystar: Everyone in Las Vegas takes their kids to the park after dark because it is just too fucking hot to do it during the daytime.
